Napaling is a popular shore diving site located along the northern coast of Panglao Island. It is best known for its dramatic underwater limestone wall that drops into a deep blue, along with the presence of large schools of sardines. The site offers a mix of reef scenery, vertical drop-offs, and constant movement from pelagic life. Napaling is commonly referred to as having two main diving experiences: the general sardine run area and Napaling Crack. The sardine behavior in Napaling can be seasonal and variable. While sardines are generally present in the area, their density and exact location within the site can shift. Napaling Crack refers to a distinct part of the site where the limestone wall opens into a narrow vertical fissure that leads into deeper blue water.
